Maple Hills Announces 10-Year Naming Rights Agreement for New Recreational Facility
Irishtown, NB – The newly incorporated local government of Maple Hills is thrilled to announce a 10-year naming rights partnership with Moncton Kia for its highly anticipated recreational facility, located in Irishtown, NB. This long-term partnership represents a significant milestone for the community and opens the door for new opportunities in the region. The new facility will enhance the connection between the community and its residents and will bear the name of the Maple Hills Moncton Kia Centre.
With the help of the facility manager, TH Sports Group, Maple Hills successfully secured this longterm partnership with local business owner Mike Savoie, that will bring enhanced resources and opportunities to the local area.

The Centre features an indoor community gym with two high-quality basketball courts, that can also be used as six pickleball courts, along with a shooting pad. Additional seating is available on the mezzanine, and plans for a future fitness center are in place. The building also houses the Maple Hills local government office, TH Sports Group’s 506 basketball and pickleball program, community meeting spaces, and other local agencies. The federal and provincial governments have collectively invested over $ 4.2 million through the Canada Community-Building Fund, and the Regional Development Corporation towards the project. Maple Hills and all its partners look forward to continued growth toward building a stronger, more connected community that thrives on collaboration and shared success.

About Maple Hills Rural Community
Following the New Brunswick Local Governance Reform, Maple Hills was incorporated on January 1st, 2023. The rural community has a population of nearly 8500 residents over an area of 522 km2 and is comprised of a portion of the former local service district (LSD) of Dundas, LSD of Saint-Paul, LSD of Moncton, LSD of Shediac. As a result, it is one of the largest local government entities in the southeastern part of the province.
