Proposed By-law No. A-08-01 – Dog Control
Maple Hills Rural Community
Pursuant to Sections 15(3) and 70 of the Local Governance Act, notice is hereby given that Maple Hills Rural Community is considering the adoption of By-law No. A-08-01, By-law Respecting Dog Control in the Rural Community of Maple Hills.
The proposed by-law establishes provisions respecting the licensing, control, and regulation of dogs within the Rural Community, including responsibilities of dog owners, dogs running at large, dangerous dogs, and enforcement measures.
The proposed by-law is available for public examination:

- At the Maple Hills Municipal Office during regular office hours.
The proposed by-law is expected to receive third reading at a Council meeting on November 17, 2026, subject to the applicable legislative requirements.
